Elite Dangerous
A New idea, maybe your guardians are better. All up to you of course you’re the star. This can make exploration even better and fun. The Thargoids return more interest. And the generation ships story an interest, especially the generation ship T.H.E.T.I.S. How in came across single that made the hole crew kill each other. Now I did not explore that planet or yet or now if it is explorable. (I NEED TO EXPLORE MORE) This signal can be on multiple planets. And systems near Generation ships. Humans have the only technology that can counter act it. Now slowly this single is growing on planets as defense and weapon for planets. We can’t replicate it or will die. This is one reasons why the Thargoids have returned. To scan are ships, learn how to block the single, collect resources to fight a new threat out there they can’t beat because its making them kill each other. Now this is where exploration comes in.
Exploration
To start the story, you have find where the signal was first found. For starters THE T.H.E.T.I.S, you start from there go to planet to planet. Now with deep exploration that is where it will get more interesting. When you find the last planet stop the signal find what it is start a massive chain reaction!!!! Then Singles all over the galaxy (of your choosing) Show up, away from cluster of course. They can be found on your map. This is where FLEET CARRIERS COME IN Or deep explores.
Anomaly’s Hostile
(It took me awhile to think this up. I don’t know if people already have this idea or your makers do, if you do not please let me now it helps me think. and sorry I don’t have pics.) This is what they find, big alien towers metal perhaps but still ran and controlled by organic the size of stations maybe a little bigger. And they come and go. Theses towers have fighter’s regular ships like ours different looking difficulty may vary depending on your choice. Now what they do. They send out a jamming source where you can’t warp, nothing can, and you must either disable it or destroy it. In deep space if flying solo, they won’t show up. You have to high class ship and at a signal source. If you have a fleet carrier ship, there is chance it will show up in random space, so you won’t get bored. There’s time limit so you won’t get stuck in space. Your fleet carrier can be attacked a least once by it. And there is a time limit before you run into another one. Ship will let system will let you know if one will show up. The pay out should be good in deep space for the damage on the fleet carrier and your ship or loss of ship.
The Cluster.
Should the fight come to the cluster, Most definitely. How slowly and if the areas that are marked in deep space get closer aren’t hit., And how it affects star ports and stations well a bit different then the Thargoids. When these Anomaly ‘s come in they’ll give out E.M.P pulse even thou players won’t be there to see it, the pules will shut down stations not destroy them. But just like Thargoids a rescue ship will show up and you can rescue civilians. When you arrive, station is still intact but not rotating. The only thing working on the station is the back up power for life support system and docking. The flight control tower will be down auto docking will down and pitch black in the accept for the emergency lighting for the landing pad. So, you’ll need your lights. And there’s a surprise. When docking you’ll get a A.I voice That will say CMADR this station TAYGETA we have station emergency. Emergency serves are needed. (You request docking) docking granted, warning Flight tower offline, Hanger lights offline, life support online. Warning CMADR Vision may vary while docking. Then when you enter hanger bay its dark you see lights where you’re supposed to land, and your cockpit starts to freeze up fully were you can’t see. The only way to clear it up is to heat up your ship with silent running. Now finding where you land is not meant to be easy but keeping your ship warm is. But that is up to you. Now how this all ends in the perhaps like a conflict zone accept longer and towers just come and go, and the same rules apply. You can’t jump. If you destroy a tower when the stations are disabled dose it free them up no dose another tower show up Hmm, different level towers or maybe three towers brings out one the master tower the disable the station. The master tower not easy to take out. It takes damage it moves. It keeps doing till either blows up or you destroy the subsystem. The regular towers perhaps maybe do the same ill leave that up to you. The name of these invaders valon you are most welcome to choose another. 😊 If like this idea or not please reply. Combat Towers
There should be four types of anomaly towers/ Combat Towers. 1st one is a scout tower small not strong easy to take out not that big, maybe the size of a carrier that jumps in combat zones and summons in fighters and ships till vanquished. 2nd tower same size as the 3rd which should be the size of a space station. Not the ones that look like cubes. These two towers can either be ice tower or heat tower. The cold tower is blueish a little and shoots long Blue beam burst, and yes beam burst takes few secs to charge but dose damage its meant to give out. The damage it dose fogs up your cockpit with ice, so you can’t see, more it hits you faster the effect, but doesn’t hurt your ship. Fly away till it where’s off and get out its weapons range. 3rd tower heat tower. This tower is almost the same accept it causes heat damage on your ship. More it hits more the heat rises on your ship that easy. (Bring heat sinks) Now tower 2 and 3 have a E.M.P pulse so ships will need something to counter act that. Now we get to the final Tower, The Master Tower, The Big Boss. This tower has ice beams, Heat beams and E.M.F beam with a E.M.P pulse. If a target player gets hits with the E.M.F (Electric Magnetic Failure) beam laser his ship will slowly go offline. I say certain subsystems. And if the ship stays in contact for to long it will go completely offline only life support will work. The ship will have to reboot and shields recharge. Now this is an option, so people won’t go solo but as long as the E.M.F beam laser is on your ship, your ship wont reboot till somebody shoots the Beam laser canon are fly’s by it. All turrets fix them self’s in time 7min. or win the tower pops back in. when these towers retreat and are chased downed are reappear they are not repaired are fixed. The ice tower and heat must be destroyed for the master tower to show up. When you show you can’t warp out until you get out of the jamming distance. When you warp in your ship will say F.S.D failure. The unknown anomaly’s will have a name, example Valon Ice Combat Tower Threat level 5.
• Ice beam- when hitting target ices up cockpit and slowly make the canopy break will also slowly shut down the engine and sensors must be in the beam laser for good time for engines to fail and the cockpit to the canopy will start to break when engines fail, one point at a time every three seconds. Warm up ship to reactivate system’s new devise needed to keep ship systems warm.
• Heat beam- simple just like the sun, it heats up the ship accept if the ship hits critical for too long it will start to break the ships pits canopy ten points every two seconds. New device keeps the ship cool.
• E.M.F beam- Slowly shuts down multiple system’s, power plant last. Engines second to last. New device to help block this weapon.
Let’s put Elite pilots and there engineers to the test with there guardian weapons.
