BGS Guide 2024 2.0 released

I've just released the new version of the BGS Guide 2.0. It contains some basic information about PowerPlay 2.0, and where to find all the Powers' discord servers. If you are a Power, and wish to have your Ethos and "Why join us?" statement updated, please contact me. There will be a PowerPlay 2.0 Guide coming out in the next month or so, but the FLC have started work on their Guide, and it's a great start.

Yes, trade needs more experimentation, the new trade mechanic is described but not accurately reflected in how it actually works. I'd like to include a PowerPlay 2.0 Addendum for BGS coordinators, because it's been a wild ride for BGS coordinators. The entire thing is licensed under CC-BY-SA, so as long as they attribute my work, they can use any part of it they like.

I don’t see anything from February, and today’s tick was probably quite late because early in the morning, London time, there was nothing until 9 am. But now I can see that there was indeed a change.

I don’t see anything from February, and today’s tick was probably quite late because early in the morning, London time, there was nothing until 9 am. But now I can see that there was indeed a change.

The tick slipped 5 hours overnight 30th/31st Jan and has consistently been around 8:00AM UTC since then. My own Tick Detector is still reliably reporting ticks daily at ~08:00 UTC, but the tick detector behind the link above appeared to stop working when the tick slipped

Is there anything in this guide about missions like Planetary Scan Jobs and how they affect the BGS? Or am I just unable to find it?

I'd like to know more about factions in a particular state like retreat. Do the missions listed for the faction to complete help or hinder the process of getting out of retreat. The wording of some of these missions suggest helping them with the retreat. Like taking goods to another system.

Missions will always give +INF to the faction they're for, so will reduce the likelihood of retreat.

The flavour text isn't all that important.
