BGS ISSUE!!

Sr welltras_DS
We send this message to see if we can solve this "problem".
We are a minor faction of players, we are Dark Space Commanders, and we believe we have detected an imbalance that affects the development of the BGS.
We have been developing BGS activities for a year and a half, expanding from our original system Bhil Mina , managing to establish in four other systems. To lower the percentage of influence, and therefore lose control of such systems, only four commanders would have to eliminate the security forces of each system and for that we lost 2 systems already. A task of one and an half year was destroyed in 2 weeks, nevertheless trying to stop the decline of influence and counteract these actions seems not to be enough with a highlights number of commanders doing BGS missions.
We believe that some changes in the game should be applied. We believe that it is not logical that for each elimination of a security force, we have to perform countless BGS missions to recover these actions. Currently it seems to be 1 FS - 30 BGS missions or more.
Many thanks and looking forward to your answer. CMDR Sr Welltras.

Murder has already been reduced from what it was previously. Its impact is not as strong.

However it does still have a fundamental issue of it either not suffering diminishing returns of some form, or no hard cap to what can be done in a system each day. This can have some disastrous results given enough effort.

I think it has something to do with the maths on how the system calculates influence being based off a points scale where positive work that exceeds the system's current points gets a natural diminishing returns and negative effects like murder does not.

It is simple to point out such a problem, but what of a solution? Hard to suggest to fix something without stating how.

to compete with the influence of murder - use exploration data

Collect several systems and sell them in your stations one system at a time,

This can effectively counter the system ship killing.

Just go on a quick in-bubble exploration shift collecting 50-100 systems - use "most economical route" to make it quick so you don't have to fuel scoop etc.
