Bgs question

Im trying to take control in a system, the system only have 2 factions present, i have managed to push my faction over the 60% that is needed to trigger war. But it doesnt, have waited 3 days for the war to break out. The rival faction has no states in this system, but i know they are at war in a neighbor system. Do i have to wait for that war to end before anything happens?

If they lose the war in the other system, they will go into retreat I think and you won't be able to push them into war until they come out of retreat. Provided that they are not almost in a war in another system.

Retreat doesnt have to follow, retreat happens when a minor faction is kicked out of a system completely, which doesnt have to be the result of a war.

In my case they probably go into retreat state, because they are loosing the war in that other system and are at 0% influence.. So how long does a retreat state last, and do i have to push my faction down below 60%, and retrigger the war once they go out of retreat or do i just wait for the retreat state to go and my war is gonna automaticly be the next state...?

This is my first war that actually matter for me, and I really want that control in the system, its gonna be the first anarchy system in colonia, I really need a safe heaven out there where i can do my dirty bisniss:p. Right now colonia is too secure too do any piracy:p, I want too change that:D

Retreat is triggered at < 2,5% influence, not as an effect of a lost war.
Countdown: 3 days
Active phase: 5 days (unless ended by a conflict)
Cooldown: 2 days
Successful if < 2,5% on the last day.
Don't quote me on these values though.

War (and other conflicts) will be triggered if a) matches another faction's influence or b) if NOT controlling and influence > 60%.
A conflict in a dofferent system can delay this, checklocal news.

Ok, thanks guys looks like i got the info i need to help me get control in the system, now i just have to wait impatiently for my war too happen...

Can confirm only one active/pending conflict at any one time. The other war is blocking the coup war. Finish that war and the coup war should trigger within a tick or two.
