Horizons BGS Sync needs addressing - Totally wasted evening!

The sync times between the tick, missions board, and things happening in space as a result of the change of state at a tick a so far off it causes problems.

The tick happens and state is shown now as Civil war, yet there are no CZ's for hours and nothing on the mission board in way of combat missions. at the start of a war this is just a matter of waiting, no harm done apart from wasted time but one can always do something else to pass the time. The main problem is at the end of a war (for example). This showed up for me last night in an evening of totally wasted game play and loss of Rep with the faction.

I went to a system in Civil War, and started taking massacre missions, the system was about 20mins jumping away (in my battle ship) once there I spent about 1.5hours refreshing the Mission board and getting my massacre missions stacked up, to about 30mil. Then off to the CZ's Yay! lets get killing........I get there and it says Ceasefire!     how stupid is this.....the missions are available, the state still shows Civil War and yet there is no way of completing the missions. I had to abandon 14 missions causing my Rep to Drop 2 marks, and then jump for 20mins back to home station and turn off the waste of time game for the evening.

Why is it spawning missions that cannot be completed??
Why not say in the state - Civil War (Ceasefire), or just Ceasefire??
Why can the tick and what happens in game not be linked a bit closer together, why the need for hours gap??

Did you look up the stae on the galaxy map - that isn't always up to date. The right panel info should be accurate.

I was going on the info in the missions screen, top right giving faction info. Said civil war, was giving massacre missions to kill enemy.....leads me to think it is something that would actually be achievable.

Ye, that makes sense to assume the mission screen would give accurate info. Have you cross-checked with the right hand panel's faction info? The mission server is, I believe different from the general galaxy sim - might be a sync issue there.
