[BGS] Triggering OUTBREAK and FAMINE states

Greetings commanders.

Has anyone any idea of how trigger those states (Outbreak and famine)?

We were trying to flood a station with biowaste in order to start an outbreak (we want to avoid that market operations/BH contributes to the total influence of the ruling faction), but we are not sure if that's the best way to do it.

Any idea?

i have different theories, what might add to the outbreak and famine state buckets, to trigger it:
- a lot of transactions of biowaste
- selling food/medicines for a loss

i don't tink anybody tested it, because it is hard to test:

what we do know from dev comments: outbreak and famine buckets fill over time. they are halfed when any other state goes active. they are emtied, when famine or outbreak goes active.

which leads to the problem to use an action that does not trigger another state before the famine or outbreak bucket is filled. if you trade a lot of biowaste with profit, you'll get the controlling faction into boom - and the outbreak bucket is emtied. if you trade biowaste for a loss, the market controlling faction will loose influence and get into war soon - again: outbreak bucket half emptied. etc. etc.

if you want to test triggering outbreak by biowaste trade, you need to have a source which neither produces a loss nor a profit when trading it...

we do know, that various missions add to outbreak/famine.
