So my and one of the guys in my player group were talking about setting up a pair of ships that could compete in bounty hunting/ combat zone cgs without necessarily having to run away from the first hostile Commander in an FDL that we encounter.
We figured that if we each flew a Vulture we should be able to put up a decent fight against both PVE and PVP but also be able to run away from anything we couldn't take down. Worst comes to worst... it's a cheap rebuy.
The loadouts seeemed obvious at first, large beams on one ship engineered to efficient and either overcharged multis or frag cannons on the second but here's where we started having problems.
How to balance PVE and PVP builds?
We can't do stealth builds because that doesn't work PVE and has a limited engagement time anyway so that leaves shield and hull tanking, but do we go for twin chaff or shield booster tank? What about heat meta? Do we NEED a heat sink launcher (or two!) on there?
Balancing it all seemed impossible. The community on here have amazed me time and time again so I figured I'd ask for help with these builds.
Two vultures, working together that can hold their own pvp and against a single hostile commander in a relatively decent FDL etc. Money is no object. Engineers are no object.
