My idea here is designed to give Bounty Hunting a *much needed* boost and at the same time provide a bit more excitement for the pirates.
Currently on the news page we get a list of the five most wanted, along with their last known location.
I've spent *far too many hours* trying to catch up with any of these guys with complete lack of success. Its very frustrating, if not impossible.
What we need is a bit more info. Instead of simply posting the last known location we should have a date/time and location of last sighting. Which should be either the last time that they docked or the last time they were sighted by police or a player with 'report crimes' turned on.
There should also be a *discreet* (so as not to break the immersion) way of showing if they are currently online or not. So that we do not waste time chasing ghosts.
Also I think that there may be an instancing problem going on, I may have been chasing a 'ghost' so to speak.
So what I suggest is that we should be able to mark one or more of these guys as a target which then guaranties that we get into their instance, should we come across them in the galaxy.
I would also like to suggest that if one of these guys tries to evade justice by using the solo mode swap exploit then we should still be able to get into their solo instance to negate use of this loophole as a cheat/exploit.
Another possibility would be to have the game generate a 'mission' that you can accept to catch one of these most wanted players, with the same instancing fixes.
