Ship Builds & Load Outs Bi-Weave/Prismatic/normal shield generator.

Hi everyone.

What's the difference between Bi-Weave/Prismatic/normal shield generators? Haven't played for more than six months and looks like I lost some of the new stuff.

BiWeave
Equivalent to a class C Standard Shield Generator, but regenerates faster

Prismatic
Adds around 15% shield capacity to an class A shield generator at the cost of considerably more power consumption and weight. (I think its around 15% someone correct me if I am wrong)

So I can fit both normal and Prismatic?

Sadly no just one shield per ship, the figures I got from Coriolis suggest an increase of around 18 - 19% for a standard A5 to Prismatic based on a Vulture and FDL, mass from 20 - 40 T and power 3.64 - 5.46 MW up 50%.

The FAS is a bit of an anomaly with a 28% increase between standard and Prismatic, mind you the FAS needs all the additional shields it can get!
