Bi-weaves on an Anaconda - Engineer them?

Hey Guys, I just purchased another Anaconda and setting it up as a pure thargoid hunter.

I have decided to try bi-weaves instead of my usual go-to prismatics, but not sure if i should reinforce them, or leave them be and not sacrifice their regen and broken rates.

Thoughts?

Thermal resistant shield mod, secondary may even increase the regen rate and the optimal hull mass if i recall properly. I'm away from home and cannot check my self

I used grade 5 reinforced be-weave shields on my Anaconda for bounty hunting and in the conflict zones and it performed quite good. Only if too many ships in the conflict zones headed onto me it felt a bit weak.

If you are going to try Bi-weave for the Regen, go all out with lots of G1 rolls to get additional regen secondaries.

Or wait until the upcoming beta to see if they have corrosive resistant shield tech.

Whatever you use for shields, get the values up.

My Corvette is at 5.1k reinforced shields and hull at 6.6k. Killed more than a few class 5 aliens ( about half in two-wing, the rest in higher numbers, solo is planned but no hurry).

You will lose shields but strong ones apparently help to keep your modules working longer and hull from being worn out too early.

What keeps you alive is the hull and if you're going solo, more so. You should keep in mind that getting out of an encounter should be seriously considered once you are less than 20% hull.

All my stuff is G5.

I went for bi weaves and went for strength. They will still he up pretty fast and are almost as strong as 7A. Just have a strong hull to take the downtime.

The higher the class of Bi Weave, in your case 7, the higher the regen rate.
7C Bi-Weave can nearly hit 5 MJ/s regen with a proper secondary. 8C can hit nearly 7!!
