So I'm off on a major expedition (secret destination). Have been since the 6th of January. And I'm only about the half-way mark on my journey. That's less impressive than it sounds (currently 19 days into mission) because I'm moving at The Speed of Dad, which means I get far less play time than some people. I'm taking it easy and scanning most systems as I go.
The Big Advantage of this is the missions, wings and everything else make no difference to me. The only advantage I get from the patches currently is the graphics overhaul on the planets. It means that by the time I get back to Known Space, probably sometime around mid-March the game will have had a bit of an overhaul and there'll be a lot of new content that wouldn't make a swat of difference to me where I am right now.
