Sorry, I disagree. Learn to look for the post on your screen when you enter, and watch your trigger finger. I find it helps to think of this game as real life, rather than a game. You don't just wander down the road with guns your hands - if you don't intend to use them, put them away!

It gives you a warning on the screen now, I don't see why a bigger one is better.

We really don't need this in all honesty. Once you get used to where you are you will see what I mean.
Top left (comms): Tell you when you have left or in the 'no fire zone'.

If once you just open the Control Panel in the options you can disable the activation of hardpoints when pressing fire.

I find it very hard and distracting to look at the line of text in the top left to see if you can or can not fire. Especially if a lot of things are happening at once and the message is above the visible line or has in out in out a couple of time.
I would rather concentrate on fighting versus reading the wall of text.
