Coaster Crazy Bigger 'effect' size / track smoothing possible?

I figured out what it is I think I want to be able to do, but can't. Maybe there is a way and I'm just missing it?

So you know how you can select the 'effect size'? I kind of need a bigger one.

For instance, if I have a long slope, I'd like to be able to smooth it out so that from the bottom to the top, it doesn't have any lumps/bumps or little mini turns in it - and its the same angle all the way up.

If I could think of a logical way of doing this, I'd say tap the start and end of the track section(s) I want to smooth out and then say 'make this straight' or 'a linear slope'....

But other than that, is there currently a recommended way to iron out the bumps in a section that's bigger than the biggest effect size?

Hi Kipper,

When I want to smooth out a section of track I find the best way is to just select the track with a large brush and draw back over the track I have already placed. This should redraw it a lot more smoothly.

If you're referring specifically to the track on special pieces, then there is an available option to 'tighten' the track on either side of the special piece if you click on either end of it. This can help to trim away any excess track and make the whole thing look neater.

Hope this helps!

Thanks :)

How does it work with slopes though? I can't seem to create smooth slopes too well.

I usually paint flat track and then grab the end of it and drag it upwards/downwards to change the height, is there a better way? (If I do that on a long piece or curved section it's hard to get all of the slopes at the same angle to make it look like one long section).

For that, the best option is to just use the large brush tool. If this isn't big enough however, you can always pull up additional track and then once it is all the right height but still not smooth enough, you can then 're-trace' the slope using the smaller brush to remove any bumps. This should give you the desired results.
