This Monday sees the biggest "supermoon" in over 60 years - on 14th Nov the full moon will be at the closest perigee since 1948 and so produce the largest "supermoon" since then:

Just missed the closest approach due to bad weather although I did see the moon for a bit earlier looking out my window while playing elite, tomorrow is supposed to be the best time to see it in the UK.

Saw it this morning, low in the sky and flooding my kitchen with light. It does look bigger, but that may just have been the effect of it being low in the sky.

Clear skies around my neck of the woods. Light level at night was very high, about as bright as the street lights.

I saw it early yesterday morning. There was a thin cloud cover, so it created a huge bright halo effect. Awesome!! Wish I had a camera!
