Binary stars kissing.. FD should have those in, extreme rarity, but it looks great and would make some good wallpapers!

They do have them. What they don't have is the material siphoning effects. Hopefully that's coming soon.


Ran across this heading to the LBN Nebula. Sadly I didn't get to see them actually touching.

I also ran into this awhile back near Albireo. A Herbig Ae/Be star skimming the corona of the lower right blue star.

ED actually had (sort of) kissing stars (I Bootis was famous for this phenomena), but this was due to a bug and not intended feature, so it was removed.
