according the ticket #00000263494 I would like to post one suggestion regarding throttle settings in the configuration bindings.
I would propose Frontier to implement different range settings for "normal cruise" and "super cruise" using one and the same controller axis as follows:
"Normal Cruise" - Throttle Axis: 0% - 100% range --> [-100% 0% 100%] power on engine
"Super Cruise" - Throttle Axis: 0% - 100% range --> [ 0% - 100%] power on engine
--> This is currently not possible. Only one of the following alternatives are possible unfortuately:
(1) Throttle configured as "Full range"
"Normal Cruise" - Throttle Axis: 0% - 100% range --> [-100% 0% 100%] power on engine
"Super Cruise" - Throttle Axis: 0% - 100% range --> [ 0% 0% 100%] power on engine
--> this results in lost of first half throttle range for "Super Cruise" (see red marked letter)
(2) Throttle not configured as full range
"Normal Cruise" - Throttle Axis: 0% - 100% range --> [0% - 100%] OR [0% - -100%] power on engine
"Super Cruise" - Throttle Axis: 0% - 100% range --> [0% - 100%] power on engine
--> this results in lost of posibility to move the ship backward (except using a special key) for "Normal Cruise" (see red marked letter)
I think it have being a wish of many users of ELITE Dangerous.
