Biological Signals

Hello, very n00b question here but do you need to do a planetary scan to find biological signals or do they just show up when doing the FSS like geological ones?

They show up just like GEO signals.

Yes you need to do a planet probe to lock them down .. need Advanced Surface Scanner fitted.

The FSS wil give a "likelihood" of finding bio sites on a given planet though.

FSS will show how many such signals are on a given body, if any.
To pinpoint their locations you need DSS/probes.

For me, O class star systems produce the most biological signals. I've found so many that I no longer go down to the plants and drive around and take pictures. I just map the planets and move on.
