Biomes per Continent

Hello Frontier

I don't know how frequent this request is, but could there be individual biome varieties per continent, so Australia has its own grassland and tropical biomes, and also an added temperate biome should be on the cards too, tropical forest is in the Northern half of Australia, the rest is temperate and in many parts where grassland is, there should be instead temperate forest, such as the Southern parts of South Australia. Anyway, I believe that each biome should look different via the continent, so that every grassland biome doesn't just look like Africa on every continent, the same with Taiga (which is Asia), Temperate (which is UK), Europe itself should look different from the English countryside, Tropical Biomes should look different also.

If this could be looked at and variation in the biomes, its plants and terrain texture is unique to that biome on that continent. It would probably help with animal welfare, because even in an animal's preferred biome, they still require coolers, I am pointing fingers at grassland and tropical mammal species.

This has been discussed quite a few times on the forum. Map change requests were only addressed by the developers once, and only to China, after some heated discussion on some old thread. They did mention in the patch notes for that update that this would be the only time they would be editing the front-end globe. However, since that time there has been quite a few complaints and new threads about the issue by different people, so I am still a bit hopeful we might see an overall one-time fix to the globe and once and for all put an end to the creation of multiple threads based on specific locations. I did make promises some time ago, to some users, that I would make a thread for all the issues combined, and making a one-time suggestion to Frontier using their own source map for the game - which is now updated to be much more accurate.

Anyway, I believe that each biome should look different via the continent, so that every grassland biome doesn't just look like Africa on every continent, the same with Taiga (which is Asia), Temperate (which is UK), Europe itself should look different from the English countryside, Tropical Biomes should look different also.

They actually started addressing this with the DLC's. South America DLC introduces a new tropical map for South America and Australia DLC adds a new desert map. I hope they continue adding new maps with upcoming DLC's.

There was such a thread some time ago that wanted the same region changed. It is one of the more problematic regions overall. Since everyone's talking specifically about one region in their posts, I wanted to compile everything under one thread.
