BioSyn Dominion DLC Feedback (after playing all of it!)

1.) Thank you, Frontier! You took some big swings here and hit most them out of the park. The new environments and the mist effects and new dinos are perfection. Tours as transportation Yas! The new BioSyn buildings? Definitely top! New DFW buildings? Yes! New buildings with new functionality are always welcome!

2.) The rustling mechanic and deterrents are a fantastic new mechanic however thick trees can be an issue. Either let jeeps drive deeper into them or remove collision for jeeps in thick trees ala the BioSyn map. Really enjoyed defending my dinos!!

3.) The rustling mechanic definitely needs to be added to sandbox and made optional to turn of/off as well as frequency ( Off, rare, normal, high, higher). This naturally means the defensive stuff needs no building limits.

4.) The way expeditions work on Owens Ranch is similar to how an option for Sandbox needs to be. Replace fossil hunting with random live dino deliveries each time with their own chance cards (are they sick, hyper aggressive etc). An option would be great to populate our parks with all rescues instead of fossils so we have to build to adapt instead of build to our designs.

5.) The BioSyn map is gorgeous. More of those big open maps with unique environments (doesn't mean add a giant mountain in the middle lol)

6.) Hoping for truly massive Isla Sorna redwood map similar to the BioSyn map, maybe the size of 2015 nublar with a new redwood tree set! If Isla Sorna comes as its own new map, placeable decorations would be InGen crates, cages, the connected trailers (undamaged) and the mercedes (obviously generic-ified for licensing).

7.) Sauropods, while tougher, still need to fight back. Tail whips and stomps.

8.) All flying reptiles need walking animations.

9.) if possible the aviary domes need to be made much taller.

10.) Environmental: Please look into deep water or variable water depth and swimming. The pyroraptor is easy hands down one of my new favorites (so...many...colors...more of that stuff in the future please!!). It would feel good to be able to see at least the pyroraptor doing its penguin dive and swim thing as well as the Spinosaurus and a few others swim. Smaller dinos should be able to climb placeable rocks and perch/sleep or interact with em (raptors jumping on rocks and such). Big dinos like rexes should be able to step over them.

11.) The intelligent and fussy traits: Definitely love them. Please bring them to all modes!

12.) For genetics, let us engineer negative traits as well as positive ones!

13.) When an intelligent dino picks a target its status changes but we never get to find out what its targeted. If its a dino, highlight the dino or make a message pop up. If its a guest, just a general guest warning.

14.) Dominion showed the appeal of alternative feeder types: Suggestions would be pig, deer and cow. For compies, I'd suggest perhaps rabbits/chickens and the biggest animal a compy and take down is a goat and they'd do it be pack hunting in a swarm.

15.) For compies, they should not be able to trample guests...if enough compies are around them, they swarm them instead. If enough aren't then the guests just shriek and run away.

Thanks to all you guys at Frontier! This DLC and update were such huge leaps in the right direction. Let's keep it going that direction!

For #6.

Would like the return of Isla Sorna from the first game. Was a fun map to do a wild safari scenario. Something I don't understand is why game developers don't bring back old maps from earlier games as much as they should. Blood Gulch is a prime example of using the same maps over and over again, adapting for the new mechanics and people love them. The beauty of it is that the maps should take less time since a lot of the groundwork is already done. Would like to see all the maps from the first game be translated for this one.

I wouldn't mind if they made the large sauropods (so excluding Amargasaurus and Nigersaurus) invincible again except to the Indominus like in the first game. Plus, this would make the Indominus special again. Heck, since Ramsey points out in Dominion that Dreadnoughtus means fear nothing, maybe the Dreadnoughtus Dominion variant should even be invulnerable to Indominus.

It'd be cool if the Pyroraptor and Dimetrodon could use fish feeders and have wetland requirements like for the spinosaurs since they're both shown in water in Dominion. Dimetrodon is also known from more freshwater ecosystem fossil deposits. Quetzalcoatlus should also be able to eat goats and from the meat feeder. Ideally, Dimorphodon should eat from the meat feeder as well, and Tapejara should have at least an omnivorous diet. Therizinosaurus should be able to kill goats and eat from trees or at least have an eating animation similar to what's shown in Dominion.
