Biotech Conductor overload

Am I the only one to see over half the material rewards are Biotech Conductors? I have been to 20+ stations and systems since the 2.2 release and half of all mission rewards are these useless things. [blah]

Seems like alot of G5 rapid fire modifcations. Dunno why my PA would need biotech to fire faster. :)

But yeah, seen alot of the 'very rare' material while still struggeling to fimd cracked industrial firmware.

Yes! What is up with the biotech conductors?! I have seen a lot of cracked industrial firmware as passenger mission rewards but not for regular missions.

I recall a lot of people having trouble finding CIF. Thats probably why FD made it spawn more often on passenger missions.

You need biotech conductors for G5 long range\short range mods, not for rapid-fire (thank God...)

Indeed...

And all I need is some magnetic emitter coil (or something). Still, patience with this game is a virtue.

Personally I'm not very virtuous. :D

You buy the magnetic emitter coils from a market in aasgaa. You need them for lvl5 fsd.

Yes, thanks. :)

I'm not that interested in jumping hundreds of times though (ok, tiny exaggeration, but it's out of the way), so I'll just wait till they show up. They will eventually. They were useful for L3 reinforced shields too, and I got 8 of them just the two days ago.

As I said, patience is a virtue.. :)

Amusing.

It's one of those 'will brake for...' materials that we cause me to divert from pretty much whatever I'm doing and take a mission offering it. I don't even specifically use them for anything, but they're sufficiently rare for it to be worth keeping hold of a couple.

After getting a bunch more at the weekend, I strongly suspected that the commonality had been increased deliberately, which made me think that the patch had added bunch more recipes which needed them - perhaps for thematic reasons - or an engineer/something which required a bunch of them.

Essentially, my little paranoid brain thought 'oh, yeah... more experimental biotech stuff being introduced... hmm. suspicious! Hints of metaplot'.

Yes. They're literally everywhere, which is a shame because the only laser mod I plan on using is sturdy thermal vent beams because it increases armor piercing and heat dissipation

also, red lasers.

The first time I played 2.2, the first mission offered me Biotech Conductors. "Oh man, am I lucky, this is rare stuff!" Then another one. "Double whammy!"

After a day or two, I was ready (still am) to organize and lead a total war on all Biotech Conductor production facilities.
