Birds?

¿There are going to be birds in the game? (like parrots, toucans, eagles, condors, etc)

Is there any information about it?

Nothing yet, but I do hope we get Aviaries especially since all or most zoos have them.

I hope the same. Maybe in the next months we will see a new picture of a possible aviary.

Considering that of the list of confirmed animals, there are many to appear...

They probably wanted to work and finish the reptile houses first to get it right and now hopefully they will start focusing on the aviaries soon. Maybe they already been working on them and they aren't ready to be shown yet.

If we get birds, I just really hope they are not in small cages like the reptiles. I would love to be able to build a big aviary with lots of tropical birds.

Birds and aviary mechanics that allow for walkthrough aviaries and aviaries built from scratch are my number one most wanted feature ingame. Tbh no zoo game has attempted this in any way that does justice to the fact that most zoo animals are small aviary birds. I figure that even having a system where you can place perch-able objects (and birds fly around relative to these) would be cool - that way you could even do bird shows and stuff pretty simply.

Also, a few of us on discord have put together a petition to try to raise awareness for small, lesser-known birds including things like jewel-babblers which are pretty little birds from New Guinean cloud forests: https://www.change.org/p/planetzoo-...t-wants-jewel-babblers-in-planetzoo-joinmehdi

Don't quote me on this but there was an image of the Discord that mentions from Chante that an Aviary mechanic will be implemented but it's yet to be polished. Frontier took suggestions from the community and two she mentioned were MY pick, The Spix's Macaw, and YOUR PICK, The Spotted Jewel-babbler. If it is real, the conversation has been deleted. Probably wasn't meant to be revealed and was retracted.

I don't know how legit it is, but it looks real enough. If it is true, it's not official but I thought you should know since you're asking for Jewel-babblers.

OMGOSH!!! I've been waiting for them to confirm Aviaries and here it is! I can't wait for it to finally be finished and see it in game! Planet Zoo is looking up to be the best zoo game ever!!!

As mentioned in another thread as well, this image is being removed as it includes impersonation of a member of Frontier staff.

I'm advising again to be cautious of unofficial imagery. We NEVER EVER confirm animals outside of our official channels, and we are certainly not having these kinds of conversations in a discord server.
