Bad luck!
Well, mostly.
Well today is my birthday, no presents necessary, lol.
Having some bad luck today! Is that normal? Lol
First off, I'm older... Damnit!
Second, been doing bombing runs in my Cobra Mk III, grinding abit of rank and cash for the Empire, came in to do my bombing run at Fernandes Depot, in HIP 10716, came in alittle steep and hot, fired off some missiles, but failed to boost and pull up in time to avoid the rapidly approaching ground, hit it hard, but survived! (Good luck?), however, after boosting back in the air, my canopy had a delayed reaction to the crash and shattered! It was like 10 seconds after the impact. Very odd! So I had to return to Morgan Depot for repairs.
Well the locals there don't like me killing there skimmers all day, and are hostile. But I can still land. Wasn't much of a panic, landed repaired, but then I could hear shield hits while docked. Turns out, some vengeful skimmers where shooting at me on the landing pad. lol
Ignored it, accepted some more missions, including rescue missions. Before I could take off, all the rescue missions failed. Lol
Oh well, I took off, did another run, collected some more escape pods for later and logged off.
Time to go meet my girlfriend for lunch at 11!
Traffic jam! Took ages to drive the 3 miles in to town(could have walked faster, but it keeps raining). Parked up, and Just about made it on time as she came out for lunch.
Went to our 'spot', completely full. Checked out our other spots.. Full! Ended up finding a new cafe, but had to turbo eat cos we'd wasted most of her lunch finding somewhere to eat!
Anyhoo, she went back to work, and I had a quick look around town, was checking out 'upgrades' for my PC, (which I can't afford), turns out, most high Street stores are still living in 2002... DDR2 RAM on sale still! Nothing new. Didn't even sell case fans. Or cases. Useless!
Returned to my car, to find some kind soul had removed most of my driver side wing mirror for me. Thanks whoever you are! I hope you did more damage to your own damn car! (FYI I left my car parked next to a concrete pillar on the left, and a Mini Cooper on the right, if you can't unpark a mini, you shouldn't be driving at all!)
Annoyed, I went to the supermarket, to buy bits for dinner tonight. Most of the stuff I wanted, sold out! Thanks Tesco!
Even more annoyed, I returned home (more traffic took ages), and had to buy a new wing mirror off eBay, and hope it arrives in time for my MoT on Thursday!
Yay...
And this is why I don't celebrate birthdays. Lol
