Won't go into bug details as I've started thread on that in appropriate forum.
But just expressing some major annoyance and confusion over:
1. Not aligned with any power - neutral with two, friendly with Empire
2. Friendly or Allied with various minor factions
Yet, when I was Neutral with everybody - every single faction major or minor - internal security as well as major power security ships would fire upon me. On patrol, coming in to dock at a station.
Then when I get Friendly with a power, grinding rank for Empire for example, I get fired upon by both the Neutral and by my own Friendly / Allied internal security.
It's a bizarre state when neutral and friendly means fired upon. I am assuming somewhat sarcastically that if I turn hostile, then the firing will stop as that is how bizarro universe logic works.
It's made docking when doing mundane trade or grinding rank missions pretty interesting - never know when jumping into neutral or friendly territory when some crazy security ship will fire on me.
Anyone else with this going on?
*note - not all security of a given faction, all of the time attacks me. the attacks are very frequent yes - but it is like 1 or handful of crazy ships in some systems will just decide I'm KoS. The permanent security patrolling outside a station never seems affected, but the in-system patrols always are - and once one of them gets my scent and attacks - it will literally never give up.
Attack --> chase and follow to station, dropping out of SC at any moment I am trying to dock --> attack again --> if i manage to dock, and exit to go to another station in the same system --> this bulldog terrier security will chase and follow me to the next dock
