Was cruising around a hostile system in my A-fitted Python doing missions to rank up with Federation when I'm interdicted by a pair of competent rated Cobra CMDRs. They open fire and I return in kind. I take one of the Cobra's shields down and he runs so I turn on the other. The first Cobra is only 70% hull with no shields and he circles around to my tail. I flip off FA, 180 for a clear shot and pull the trigger. He's only a couple meters out, heading straight at me, and I have 2 bars of shields so I hit the boost. I slam into him at 200+ and he goes down to 57% hull while my shields pop and I'm at 56% hull. What in the actual ? I'm so that I immediately jump out of system. If the odds weren't so in my favor I probably would have combat-logged after some bull like that.
Anyone else had problems with tactical ramming where the other guy should have been space-debri but instead you're the one limping away? Right now I am livid that I had to bug out in the face of a pair of a chums.
