Black Friday paint jobs

You say it like everyone should know and we are idiots for asking about it.

You do realise there is a notification in game stating Black Friday Sale is now on? Also on the Elite Dangerous website the latest news article is stating the Black Friday sale is now on. It clearly says the sale has started, but it does not mention midnight black paint jobs at all.

Any reasonable person would be able to understand the confusion being generated by the advertising. Logic would dictate Black Friday Sale = Black Friday paint jobs. They then come to the forums, which the advertisement links to, and ask where they are. Not everyone is aware that the paint jobs are only available on Black Friday itself. The Black Friday sale is not only on Black Friday, so without prior knowledge how would anyone know?

Why not just share the knowledge you have and leave it at that? I understand having a bit of a joke but there is such a thing as overdoing it. Just be good to people man, we come here looking for help, not be made to feel small.

In case they appear Friday, i ll have to buy it for the T10 when i m supposed to have received them all as a gift ? sounds weird.

The bird already answered you. Only the 29 ships available when the offer was made are free. And the Krait + Mamba which were given by way of recompense for the delay of new DLC.

Not everyone has that prior knowledge as they may not have been around for years, or haven’t been interested before, or maybe they just don’t remember. I don’t know, I don’t see the harm in asking a question is all.

There is a way to get these black paints in-game. Just fly as close as you can to the nearest star and bake the chassis.
