One thing I have noticed about Black Holes in Elite, as weird and mesmerising they may look. they just don't steal the show as much as they could, I mean they are Black Holes!!! isn't that the epitome of Si-Fi awesomeness?!
My suggestion is that most black holes undergo a positive visual change, the reason for me saying "most" and not 'All' is that some people may prefer these models, and in all honesty they already represent what a black hole theoretically should look like.
But sometimes looks are everything, and black holes could use some jaw dropping enhancements, such as;
-Accretion Disks ( these should be more common with larger black holes) These will be important for Part 2 om my suggestion.
-Better lensing effects (make light twist and deform in various ways around it. something like this;
As you can tell, I got that last image from Interstellar. I found that Black hole to be absolutely the best representation I have seen yet, at least for the awe factor.
These will just help make Black holes something to really search for. either for that ultimate picture, or just those who enjoy seeking the wonders of the Galaxy.
Who else would like to see something like this?
