black hole sector

So I just hit a black hole after a long time. When I checked the Galaxy Map I saw many more in close vicinity. Is that common to find a sector with many black holes?

Are you over or under 1k from the galaxy plane? Then yes, lots of BH and NS there.

Some sectors have thousands upon thousnads of black holes, especially in the Core.
