Black Market locations ?!?

Having found a couple of "Salvageable Wrecks" and scooped up there wares I began looking for the nearest black market to offload the booty. Using Thrudds trading tool showed plenty of nearby locations with black markets but having travelled to the stations/outposts and docked at said places there were no BM's !!!

Is this a victim of the latest updates that I haven't been aware of?
Anyone? Bueller... Bueller... Anyone?

Black markets come and go from systems depending on who is running it.... If the administration of the system or station has changed recently, that could account for it..

Sometimes owner flip of a station makes them lose blackmarket (especially when Feds take over). Blackmarkets are shown in system map though when you target a station, so they're not too difficult to find.

It might have changed in 1.3 due to Power Play. More than likely though it changed due to station ownership. The black markets I know about and have dealt with are still in the same spots, but they're pirate owned which is probably why. ;)

Come on fella, they are marked on the maps!!!
They were never marked in the early days and one would have to fly to stations to see if one was there.
It's easy now.

Thrudds and 3rd party databases are not connected to the game, they are not maintained by FD and are only as good as it's membership's dedication to maintaining it (them). You can sign up to most of them and contribute data to help make them just that much more useful. Go to the Galaxy map and poke around nearby systems (go to their system map) and click once on each station and look at the left panel. You'll find all sorts of info about each station and you'll find there's a Black Market right close to where you are now.. Good luck :)

I did stumble into Fed controlled systems to begin with but the went to and Independent dictatorship and still no luck.
Have recently been to LHS 2310 and Kutkha. Guess the hunt continues - appreciate the input Commanders!

I used to have a note book with a scribbled list of black market locations (Think I still have it somewhere) and that was the only way of knowing where they were...... Until the faction of the station changed and the bloomin market disappeared !!!

Times were interesting back then..... Tough, but interesting...

Near LHS 2310: Lugh (Hartsfield Market), for example.
