Black market need to be revisited.

Ok I'm fully agree that stolen goods can be sold only for an half price .....

But prohibited comoditys in certain station/system must gain you at least double if not triple the price what you have paid for.

In some cases normal trading routes even gain you more reward then smuggling the prohibited goods in the system.

The punishment is hard if you securety vessels scan you .....the ships and the station will be open up fire on you with as result ship and cargo destruction....... There is absolutely not balanced risk/reward in this matter compared to the usual trading.

I hope FD will look in this matter and improve black market in better way.

I agree. And I think all stations should have a black market. Your reputation may determine whether or not you can access it, but there's black markets everywhere today. They think we're going to change in 1300 years? The pirating and trading hasn't, according to FD, so why would the black market activity be any different?

I fully agree that black markets should be revamped. A situation in which I was involved for an example - there are two systems next to each other, each of them with one Earth-like planet and related station producing foods. One of them is Federative, where Tobacco is prohibited, another one is independent, where Tobacco is allowed and it's possible to buy it there officially. The Federative one has a black market though. So I decided to make some smuggling (it's funny to smuggle Tobacco but still), bought it officially on the independent station and went to a Federative one with risking my ass. Hopefully I managed to get there safely, jumped onto black marked with an intention to make some dirty money to spend on booze and women... Tadadam, it costs 200 cr less per unit on the black market than on the official one in neighbor system, thus it's useless to make such transaction. So the question is ...?!

Yeah. That's a bug. Should be a lot more. If you are buying it for 2000 in a system where it's legal and then taking it to a system where it's illegal, it should be at least 2800 to 3000. And that's if they've just been inundated with a big shipment.

Thats what i have exactly ment.

I tryed that once aswel.... Managed to get my fully load type 6 with iligaal stuff in the station just before they scanned me..... Only to find out on black market that I will make 130 credits profit per unit from it.

Moving the garbage could even gain me more profit without risk of been destructed by station and loosing all cargo and ship.

So in current state black market is only good for 1 thing..... Dump the stolen cargo...... What is pretty dumb tbh
