Black Screen on Client Launch

Trying to launch Horizons from the Launcher and all I can see is a black screen.

Have tried:
1. Running the launcher as Administrator.
2. Setting default language to English in the Launcher before starting the Client.
3. Validating Game Files. (Suggested by AngryAntz)
4. Gathered Netlog: https://pastebin.com/raw/pdH6ByaE

Any help is appreciated.

RESOLVED: I rebooted my machine................ =\

You could also try unplugging any extra devices (joystick etc) other than mouse/keyboard. There are log files etc that can help you diagnose the problem, but unfortunately I am not the person to ask where to find them. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will see the post and tell you where to find them.

The other option is to check the support site to see if anyone else has had a similar problem or if all else fail raise a ticket with support.

I have the same issue, and nothing works for me... any ideas?
Start off with checking the spec of your system vs the requirements for the game, any graphics solution that starts with INTEL is below minimum requirements.

Ensure your drivers are up to date.

Restart your computer.

If on laptop ensure it is plugged in (a laptop running on battery will default to intel graphics and base processor speed).

If on desktop ensure that you are connected to the monitor/tv through the port on the graphics card and not the motherboard.

Found another solution.

Set graphics to the low preset.

See if you can get into the game.

I was able to and could then play on whatever graphics quality I wanted again, hopefully the same works for anyone else.

I am using Linux (Fedora 40) and the first time I tried to play Elite Dangerous it hit me with the black screen and then nothing (unplayable)

This was caused by using xorg (graphical login).
The fix was to switch to Wayland (graphical login).

For other Linux users, watch out for the above. It can drive you crazy and send you around the bend.
