Black Screen on 'Exit to Desktop'

I don't know if this is just me, but I have noticed recently that the vast majority of times I 'exit to desktop' when running Odyssey (Windows 10), that I get a black screen, which continues until stopped using Task Manager. The Task Manager shows the Odyssey executable burning 20% CPU (approximately the same as normal when the game is running).
Is this something that others are seeing ?
BTW : All drivers are up-to date and all current Windows 10 updates installed.

Yep, same. Not every time, but quite regularly. Sometimes it "hangs" on the black screen for a minute or so, then the process ends by itself, sometimes I have to kill the task.

Depends on the update. After some upgrades / patches I get it, after most I don't. It's mostly behaved recently.

See if it still happens after the next update/upgrade/patch. It shouldn't do any harm to task-kill anyway after exiting from the main menu.

For me;

every ~5 exit do desktop from ingame
every ~10 exit from main menu

So I usually exit to mainmenu then to desktop. Saves me a few times of annoyance. But, it wouldn't be Elite without a few loose nuts here and there :cool:
