I keep for time to time getting a black screen when I go on foot from the ship or the SRV. I try the Tab key but nothing work. I have to disconnect and reconnect to fix that. But the thing is that when you disembark on freezing planet you better get reconnect fast because your guy is stuck on the surface and waiting for you. It's make the on foot (witch is not already great) not funny at all. Update and file check done and nothing have changed.

Can you please provide a few more details, like is your Quest 3 losing connection to your PC or is it the game crashing? Can you still hear the game running and is it still running on your monitor screen?
Steam Link / Air Link / Link cable / Virtual Desktop ? When you say you tried the Tab key, do you mean you used alt+Tab to move between windows?
I saw players having this problem a few years ago - endless footsteps while trying to disembark - and it wasn’t just in VR. I think it was related to network stuff and in a few cases players had to wait up to a minute or so before it would resolve itself. I thought it had been cured back in 2021.
On days when the servers are feeling the strain I’ve had blackscreen + footsteps for longer than usual (it sound like my CMDR is doing a few circuits of the Cobra before disembarking
) but it always resolves itself.
