I did it before and it's a way to do it, I feel no shame.

Looking for someone that searches for Core Dynamic Composites for me. Would do anything in return really. Some BGS work? I'm in. Want me to shoto some Popo? Hire me. Need some CMDR down for revenge? I PvP .. alot (check my signature). Mining escort? Sure! Thargoid thingy dingy? Hell yes!

Idling to wait for HGEs to spawn? Oh hell no. This is your part.

How does it work? Your job is to look for HGEs and call me when you found some with CDCs in it. I'll jump to your beacon and collect them (yes it's cheesy). In return I gonna do the task you assign me to do. Don't worry about resources, I got plenty (apart from CDCs).

I found a bunch of these last night in a high pop. civil war state. Found them in High Emissions and Encoded. Got a bunch Military Grade Alloys as well. I love the new mat limits... Thinking of renaming my DBX to Hoover... Or maybe Eureka.

+1 for your escaping battles vlog :D

Since 3.0 dropped I've found 3 HGE's while passing through (fed) shipping lanes as per the release notes. They all had CDC's, just been checking most USS that appear. Worth keeping an eye on them, although depends on how many you need and how long you're willing to wait.

I need like 100 of them and I am willing to spend an hgour or two but that's it. CDC/h? maybe 20.

Yeah, think I got 21 or 24 in the 3 I found, it would be slow going waiting for it to happen like that. And I wasn't looking and ED knows when you're looking.

I got most CDC trading them for proprietary composites, 6:1, but those can be farmed on CZs easily, for 2x3 you got one CDC, no bad.
Its slightly faster than HGE farm, yes CDC from HGE is pain, got just few within 2 hours in 3.0

nice try. i'm curious of how this works out for you. you will have to be in proximity and ideally in same instance during the process, and mostly idling anyway ... you can't really engage in any compromising activity lest you risk missing the spawn. so it saves you the chore but time wise it might even come out worse.

any case, kudos for creative thinking and promoting multiplayer experience! tell us how it panned out!

You'd enter the HGE and wait for me to jump in while I am doing some stuff (real life or whatnot) I'll be on stand by in deep space or if I can do something for you in the same system, doing that. Materials don't degrade when they are spawned, just when resulting from a destroyed ship or mined asteorid. Hence we got inginite time for me to arrive, no hurry. Got some offers by now, prolly accepting all :D
