Newcomer / Intro Blackbox Mission, got an offer to abandone, where to turn in now?

So I had a Blackbox mission in Aroyo, found a USS and when I got there another ship told me I should abandon my mission and go to another system and they would compensate me. No specific dock is mentioned, just the system. Do I go there and fly around till I find another USS where someone will pay me or do I head to the nearest dock?

To my knowledge you would have to dock at a station to "turn in" the secondary objective. Keep in mind that you can ignore the new objective and complete the original mission for the agreed upon payment.

Look at the mission details in the transactions tab in the left UI panel.

It should tell you both the original and alternative destinations to turn in the mission.
