Blackpool Community Meet-up

Last weekend me and a few coaster heads met up and visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It was my first visit after having wanting to go for years. It did not disappoint! It is more of an amusement park but it is unlike any I have ever visited. The combinationvintage rides and coasters that intertwine in such a small place is charming. I took some pictures to try and capture this. We also met a staff member that was a Planet Coaster player! I highly recommend a visit. There are also two piers (South and Central) with many classic fairground rides such as a 'Sizz(L)er', Breakdance, Waltzer, Ferris Wheel, and some more extreme bungee rides. (North does not have rides that I could see)

It was such a fun day, spent with some lovely people. Though my neck is still aching from the grand national... [mad]

Great times and fantastic memories. Great pictures. You showed Headless and Vamp's home too. But no pics of our ugly mugs [haha] LOVED it!

Bruises all over my legs. I recommend padding. Also no earrings on Infusion. Far too dangerous. [haha]

Oh, thank you sooo much for sharing the pictures! It's an amazing prak, and I have to say I was really surprised by all the rides in that little park... and the piers are as well very cool!
Enjoyed the time very much with all of you lovely people - you're the best!

I love your photos!

I have a soft spot for vintage parks and Blackpool was my favourite holiday as a child, so loved seeing photos of it

My dad always said the Grand National was a bone shaker!

searching for "meet up"... if there are any community meetups happening late september, or in october or november or december, please nudge me as i may be travelling to europe once or twice around that time. I'd love to visit Frontier and say hello too, just enough time for a cuppa tea, wouldn't want to impose.
