Already got it on preorder - it looks like model shots have been remade with new practical effects but you can still choose to have the originals if you like. Quality should be good as a lot was shot on 35mm film and apparently video upscaling looks pretty decent too. Cannot wait to see those alien planet quarries in all their HD glory 
I do like me some classic British dystopian sci-fi, and I can recommend the Big Finish audio plays that managed to get most of the cast back for new adventures set in between the original episodes - though they are a bit pricey.
