Blind spot in center of screen, Likely bug ?

Since I went from my initial Sidewinder to my (gift) Eagle, and then my new hauler, I have a blind rectangular spot in center of my screen. The background of stars is still there, but any HUD elements are not. So in SC orbit lines abruptly stop and then reappear about an inch over.
It's especially noticeable (and problematic) when I am SCing to a station, because the blind spot is exactly where the HUD element of the station would be when it's exactly centered in the compass. In my case, there is nothing there, if I pitch a bit up or down, it comes out from 'behind' the blind spot. I am pretty good at thinking of in-game reasons or figuring I'll find out later, but this seems like an actual bug,
Anyone seen this as well ?

It didn't happen when I started playing. It seemed to happen when I stored my Sidewinder and started playing with my Eagle, I then sold that and got a Hauler and it's still there. I don't know if it will happen with my original Sidewinder since it would take about half an hour to get back there and swap, and I wanted to type this up before I forgot to. It also happened about the same time 1.04 came out, so maybe it's related to that.

Tried to attach screenshot but apparently it's too big

I'm positive that this has been reported by others in the past. Keep searching the forum to see what the solution was.

I have the same issue, my drivers are fully updated and the problem still persists! gutted waste of £40 on a game that doesnt work.. :(

Sorry for the VERY late reply, been extraordinarily busy and haven't had time.

However the issue was resolved for me, and it is definitely an AMD issue. when i checked my drivers with windows it said they were all up to date, but when i checked the AMD website i found that when i downloaded their 'catalyst control center' it updated my drivers with the required AMD drivers and now the game runs perfectly!

very easy fix, just not easy to find the answer on the forums atm!

Cheers for the help :)
