I played a fair bit of Elite in 1984 and the following years, never did get much into the Frontier games however and this has just hit the nail on the head so far as I am concerned. I bloody love it

Had so many great little moments already and I've only been playing it for 11 days!!! Cannot imagine how good it is going to get with future updates and expansions but I can tell you right now I'm likely to buy every single one of them.

Wasn't too sure about open play but so far it's been a blast, knowing and seeing human players out there is great, almost eagerly awaiting my first pvp combat though I'm fairly confident I'll lose lol

My thanks and gratitude to David and the team for bringing back a very fond teenage memory updated and intact for me, keep it up please

PvP is fun. I won some and lost a few more, at the moment. Just make sure you can afford the insurance! Right now, it seems like shield rechargers are an "I win" button. Hopefully they'll give them a cooldown or limit fitting to one.

Hmm, I need to get 1 of those! Maybe these 2 wars wouldn't of cost me 700k in deaths & repairs!
