I'm happily mining and all of a sudden I get scanned and my cargo demanded. Ham-fisted and fat-fingered I ignore the pesky mosquito, hoping he will go away as I have no cargo to give, forgetting completely about the two tons of palladium and some other metals I already mined.
Next thing I know I'm being attacked and my shields are lit up. I then fumble my way through bringing my lasers online (previously spooled down due to power issues) and halfway through me trying to get him off my tail and locked up he extends and all goes quiet.
Wondering why, I attempt to reacquire the sidewinder and up on text comes up a message to the effect of 'I'm rich...Happy Days....I've hit the jackpot etc etc etc' and the sidewinder not attacking anymore. Thinking I just got lucky, I get on his six and start blasting away........In the meanwhile this sidewinder is still texting away about his newfound riches - I tell you, you could almost see the smirk on the bot's face such was the text message context.
In the meanwhile I am clueless as to why he's not attacking and I end him with a bonus bounty received off him for my trouble.
I dust myself off and return to mining, only to realise that the wee turd must have limpeted me and caused my cargo to spill, which he was happily picking up, thus explaining his shouts of joy over text......Would have happily throttled the 'lil crapper if he wasn't already space-dust.
Tell you, it was so well done that it definitely added something to the engagement.
