Blown away from today's stream

Wow guys stepping up your game... Free placement of scenery and rotation of objects this is truly a park makers dream... I'm not the only on waiting until the juicy part for the rides. To be shown off and be amazed. Thanks again development team Frontier....
 
Thank you once again guys for another fantastic live stream. I was totally amazed with the terrain tools and those particle effects were an added bonus that no one was expecting. [up] [up] [up]
 
Especially the terrain tool had me drool over my keyboard. It's like SimCity4's God Mode BUT BETTER AND EXPANDED!!!! *mind blown*

I know I'll be playing with that A LOT

Wonderful stream! I didn't expect particle effects in alpha 2. So that was a pleasant surprise. Terrain tools look fantastic; can't wait!
 
Superb Technics and Features!
To poor that no Terrain Water is confirmed.. But - we can wait.
Meanwhile, we build and build with new Props and Items xD
 
Damn. So "long" to go till we get the hands on that. The terraintool seems to be brilliant.
Floating islands.....
The partical ejectors come handy, espacially the fire, so i can complete my forge ride.

Thank you for looking into square tunnels. Thank you for the wonderfull presentation and all showing the props.

I was wondering about that as well. I'd love to turn the walls that match curved roofs upside down to match the other side, to creat more design options.
 
What i'm also interested in is:
Can we use the "Lock Scenery" System of the Terrain Editor, to cover whole Tracks + Scenery UNDER Terrain?
In the Stream they showed that it will left the Scenery out when trying to build raide the Terrain surrounding Scenery.. But what if the Terrain gets higher than the Scenery? Will it get a closed roof Terrain?
 
I would assume that it wouldn't create a terrain "roof" if you are just pulling terrain up. You just have to go back and pull it across, like they did on the path.
 
I agree with coasterbuff. We should not pressure Frontier into implementing water, but in case you missed it.

is anyone knowing if Theme and Prop Categories are confirmed?
Like for Props:
Lights, Benches, Trashbins, Pirate, SciFi..
and same for Animatronics and Building Parts..

Aaaand:
Has anyone talked about changing colors of Props and Scenery?
 
We will get no new theme in Alpha 2 but more and seperated parts for pirate and generic.
Brick walls for example. The new rotation tool will have a huge impact on the game.

More animated things, ladders and some more. We are also getting a vfx tab and the first particle effects. (bubbles, confetti, small fire, blast fire, smoke, fog, sparks, water fountain)

They did not talk about colour changing.
