Blown away from today's stream

Thanks Periocus, but with "Categories" i meant to seperate Pirate, Render, Generic, Light..etc in seperated Tabs, so we have Themes seperated.
Right now, all Props, Scenery and Stuff from all Themes are together in one Selection Window..

Oh sorry.

They did not talk about that. But putting the vfx in a seperate tab is a good start i guess.

that looks for me like our version of the water, with the roof tile..

Yes. It seems really flat. So maybe those are tiles.

What i'm also interested in is:
Can we use the "Lock Scenery" System of the Terrain Editor, to cover whole Tracks + Scenery UNDER Terrain?
In the Stream they showed that it will left the Scenery out when trying to build raide the Terrain surrounding Scenery.. But what if the Terrain gets higher than the Scenery? Will it get a closed roof Terrain?

certainly yes. They showed this with the paths. it will work the same for scenery [yesnod]

Loved what they showed in the stream, but personally I was a bit let down that we still don't seem to be getting object recoloration, something which I feel is absolutely essential for the scenery system. What worries me though is that while they addressed many of the questions with a 'this will come in a later alpha', they didn't even address recoloration even though many people asked questions about it in the questions thread. What also bothered me was that people kept flooding the chat with 'water' comments even though they've already stated time after time that water will be coming but not any time soon.

Me too, i assume that recoloring is not that big of a deal (sry if it is). I hope for recoloring of coasters in alpha 2 though [noob]

You can also see the button "water" in the UI next to "painting". I am not really surprised, because of course they have been working on water a lot.

There is one thing clear and that is that the tools they give us are all awesome. I remember trying out some software for making landscapes that didn't even have these easy landscaping tools we see in Planet Coaster.

Ok. Thanks for pointing out.

While having a close look at the video you can see gusts making individual ripples on the water. i like that.
