Jeff Bezos blasts into space on own rocket: 'Best day ever!'

Jeff Bezos has made it into space, riding his own company's rocket. It was Blue Origin's first flight with people on board after 15 test flights.

I found it funny on the video Blue Origin making reference to the Kármán line so much on the overlay.

It was a good broadcast - interesting differences from SpaceX: BlueOrigin mission control looks more like a broom cupboard, and no video from inside the capsule - I guess paying guests get more privacy

I must say though - you don't get much space during the trip. If I had the money I think I'd want more than those suborbital options give you.

Plus do we know how much Blue Origin charge per seat?

Also, Virgins approach although lower is more airliner like on landing and retrieval...dare I say.....slicker?
