I've shot a lot of great footage in the past couple of months in ED. Some moments were beautiful and exciting, and other moments.... well, not so wonderful.

So I've compiled the many blunders I caught on film into a single video. I guess you can't have great moments without moments such as these:

Looks like a perfectly normal flying experience for me. Probably explains why I'm a long way away from anything that particularly moves or shoots or requires landing on.

What control type do you use? Keyboard and mouse? HOTAS? Xbox or PC controller?

When your shields went down at the end your hull just crumpled. That really surprised me. Gone in a flash!

I've built up a collection of clips myself which I'll post once I've edited them together. It's just time consuming when I could be playing the game.

They really do make for the funniest moments. They're frustrating at first, but then you look back and just have to laugh.... or throw your PC out the window. Laughing is cheaper and feels better.

I really ought to video my landings, most of them are as reckless as the one you recorded

It's not a proper landing if you don't smack into the pad at a reckless speed at least once, then enjoy the crunch of scraping metal as you slide to the centre of the pad and orient the ship correctly. (See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hthl28SEGfk starting around 2:00).

I play using keyboard and mouse, but have a new hotas to get used to (or just a joystick as I'm used to calling the things) but tend to do reckless things like full power A class turbo thruster docking in a Cobra.

Yeah lol I got lots of very bad landings recorded, too. And you should see me try to land when I'm nodding off and on the verge of sleep

I'll probably make another one of these videos eventually. Until then, I'd be very interested in seeing other commanders' blooper reels. Fails make for funny moments
