Boarding with SRV to a hovering ship!

I recalled my Python while prospecting in a particularly undulating base of a crater and held little hope the ship could land anywhere near me.

The Python came in unusually near and in fact right above me so that I felt the need to move away.

As I looked back I found the ship hovering 25m in the air waiting.

I moved under the boarding area, looking up to align myself and was able to board the hovering Pythin.

It's cool, but it's done this for quite awhile now, its just exceedingly rare since I believe it will only happen when.there is no landable location within a certain radius

If that radius could be reduced to 400m that would be great. Hope you'll consider this FD!
I get a bit of a salty taste in my mouth when I have to drive over 1 km to my ship.

I had that the other day while exploring a canyon. The initial spot my Python chose was so steep I couldn't actually climb into place. I ended up having to log out and back in again so I could call it to a slightly flatter area, where I could get under it when it hovered.

It is a very cool feature.

I hope this means we'll be able to launch our fighters near the surface for some exploration and canyon running funtimes.
