Body disappears in Hyperspace?

Same issue

I'm running top of the range kit and a cv1 and I'm having the same missing body and sun textures suck issue. Yes it kind of kills the entire reason I bought the cv1 in the first place !

I can live with the missing body during FSD but, the color loading delay when arriving in a system and in the system map is a terrible immersion breaker. Fdevs, you need to put it back to the way it was in 2.2. Fdev's response in the debug thread (which I couldn't add my 2 cents to) is this is an intended effect. God I hope not. This is worse than the color banding that was mostly fixed. If this was truly and intended effect and the devs think it is a good thing then I want what their smoking. Perhaps it will help me ignore this ugly effect, but I doubt it.

I'm the opposite. I don't ming the color loading much, but I dislike deeply the missing body during hyperspace.

Why is this still happening after 2 months?!

Please don't tell me this is intended (tele-presence excuse).

Granted, it only took me 3-4 evenings to even notice, but now I see it every time.

I'm having the same problem with body disappearing when jumping between systems. And I hate the magical light that came with the 2.3. I can't use white spacesuit because it shines like a sun in my cockpit which is otherwise quite dark. Who the hell drives a car with rooflight on at nights. :(

The texture pop in on stars when dropping out of warp and in the system map went away as soon as I upgraded from a gtx980 to a 1080ti. This would suggest a performance issue of some sort that wasn't there before. When arriving at a star, the clarity of the star slowly builds, so this seems to be an attempt to imitate one's eyes adjusting to the brightness. It isn't a perfect effect, but it does work better on the 1080ti. People shouldn't have to buy one of these beasts just to get these things working well. It may be that these things are not evident in a non VR situation on a normal spec pc. It's seems like the devs develop for non VR and don't really test to see if the work will function well in VR on recommended specs.

But yes, the body is back in witch space now.

But I loose the ships paint job.

LOL, really? I guess we can't have it all. ;)

Something else I've noticed in VR, that most people would never see, is that the decals aren't on the ship either. But this is always the case, not just hyperspace. If I look out the left/right sides of the AspX cockpit, the decals aren't on the engine pods, nor any of the normal labeling. I always knew something was missing, but it suddenly hit me as to what it was. :)
