Body Exclusion Zone Hit

I'm trying to complete a Encrypted Storage Salvage mission. I have the co-ords for the Planet I have to land on to search for the salvage. The only problem is, when I arrive at the Planet I cannot land on it because I hit a BEZ. I've checked in the mission data and I don't need any special permits to land on this Planet or anything like that. There doesn't seem to be anything suggesting that the Planet is out of bounds or in lockdown so I'm wondering what, if anything, I'm doing wrong.. Any help will be much appreciated.

Read the mission again. Its in signal sources not planet surface. Drop into the nav beacon, scan the actual beacon (target it thru contacts and wait for about a minute), mission will update with exact location. Fly around for a few minutes around that location for mission specific signal source.

Thanks Masagmarod, I'll do that! I'm still new to the game pretty much!

Murf I locked onto this Planet from my Nav Comp which was showing the globe icon.

Anytime! That should be standard practice from now on for every mission. You could buy an advanced discovery scanner and save scanning the beacon. Its about 1.5 mil, so if you are new you might not have the credits yet.

Yeah, if it says the planet is the target, it means a blue mission signal source will pop up around there. Do circles around it and you'll hear "MISSION OBJECTIVE DETECTED". Drop into that.
