Winters attempted to expand to Asetsi for the second time in a month, which threatened AD for 5 CC. As the week progressed, Winters supporters enjoyed a steady lead, accumulating an advantage of nearly 240,000 merits only 12 hours before the end of cycle tick. By heroic efforts up to the last moment our combat pilots showed again why AD is not to be trifled with. With a majority of the nearly 600,000 merits earned for the opposition effort coming from AD pilots, and a lead of almost 2000%, Asetsi was again seen off with a big bomb.
Meanwhile our Imperial allies defeated Hudson’s attempt to expand to Kuangwutja. We salute our friends in the service of the Emperor, and cordially offer condolences to our opponents for what must have been a grave disappointment on their side.
Pilots supporting our cause on the BGS front won the war in Butors for Aisling’s Angels, obtaining a crushing 4-0 result despite considerable efforts by our opponents. This noteworthy achievement flipped the CD-73 12 sphere to unfavourable for Felicia Winters, forcing her to haul an extra 13,000 merits every week to fortify the system. The Angels thank all of the valiant pilots who helped them in this war.
