I find it hard to believe that ingenious CMDRs wouldn't contrive some out-of-the-box solutions to counter piracy or sabotage enemy ships.
A booby trap engineer would give us a lot of interesting gameplay. Basically this engineer could convert fuel limpets into sabotage limpets which could disable modules or do progressive hull damage over time. Additionally, it would be interesting to be able to engineer all cargo items, rigging them with explosives, so that they detonate after being scooped by another ship. These would display as "Rigged Painite" or whatever to the owner, but not to anyone else.
Great way to make those pirates kiss the void!
