There are passenger missions that we can take, but none that we can give!
Why can we transfer ships, but not transfer ourselves to our ships? I give money, you take me to a star port.
The price to distance ratio mechanic is already in the game...? Just fade the screen to black and load me up in the ship I chose.

Providing, like for ship transport, there is a time delay for the trip. This is to prevent instant travel across large distances.
