Bookmarking planets while in FSS?

Hi all,

I do not know if this is suggested already, frankly as I am reasonably a noob in exploration it may already exist and I have missed it stupidly, but here it goes:

Wouldn't it be good if in the FSS mode there was an ability to bookmark directly a planet scanned? My reasoning is that there can be all those 'juicy' high metal content planets which can be accessible and may be good reason to re-visit so instead of having to go out of FSS, then into right hand panel, click on planet and then bookmark to be able to do so directly in the FSS.

Just a thought and - again - sorry if this is already a feature I have missed!!

I think this would be a good idea and invaluable for following-up and investigating the Biological Features revealed by the zoomed-in view of a body. This would save having to make a paper note of these since that information is not available elsewhere.

+1 this!

Its a bit frustrating finding several planets with Alien or Biological POI on them and having to make a note on a piece of paper so I can find them after exiting the FSS. Particularly as I'm using VR. Why isn't the information also revealed on the planet info shown within the System Map? Ditto all the other POI when it comes to that. Being able to bookmark multiple planets would make life a lot easier. I know you can target a planet when within the FSS, but only one at a time, which is of limited value when there may be several planets of interest discovered by the POI scanning.

Another pet peeve... it takes 15-20 seconds for the POI scan to reveal Geological POIs, but if a body has only got Biological POIs its finishes in a couple of seconds... Why is this?

Thing is, until the scan finishes, you don't know if there are also Biological and/or Alien POIs present in addition to those painfully slow to reveal Geological ones, so you have to wait for the dang thing to finish! Even just a handful of bodies with Geological POIs in a system can literally double the amount of time spent in the FSS. Quite a significant burden for anyone on an extremely long exploration trip <cough> DW2 </cough>

++++++

And whilst we are bookmarking (colour, tags, planetary positions), you know the usual stuff we've been asking about since bookmarks got introduced ;)

Also, going to the system map (and/or surface map) from FSS, with the highlighted planet.
